What is a Counsellor Reunion?: A “counsellor reunion” is almost explained in the name! It’s an opportunity for our counsellors to come back to Camp St. Louis for a weekend to see the Camp St. Louis family we have known, loved and missed over months of school, to have Fun, Relax, eat good food, and Learn more about what it means to live out our faith outside of Camp St. Louis. Note: (Attending a counsellor reunion does not qualify an individual to counsel in the summer. They must still go through the regular application process)

Who?: For anyone aged 14-17 (14 turning 15 during camp the following summer) who is interested in Counseling at Camp St. Louis and for our AMAZING Current COUNSELLOR CORE! Note: (Alumni are welcome to visit Camp St. Louis during the weekend but need to check in with the Director before doing so. If any Alumni would like to attend and volunteer for the whole weekend please contact Samuel Skuban @ 780-379-7929

Where?: Counsellor Reunions are held right here at Camp St. Louis in the cozy Log Cabin!

When?: March 24 – 26 (6:30pm arrival on Friday, and pick up at 11am on Sunday)

Cost?: $75 Complete coverage for all weekend expenses.

Why?: Because we miss all of you guys!!!

My son went for the first time this year. Other than being a little home sick, he had a blast!! He talked non-stop about the staff and the games and he’d sing the songs in the shower.
Camp St. Louis is the best camp ever!  Awesome!
It is such a blessing to have this camp in our diocese! The committee does such a wonderful job and the kids absolutely love it there. Ryan, along with the Team members and councillors, did an incredible job with both the weeks my kids were involved this year. Rain or shine this camp is a must!
What an amazing experience for children’s summer camp! My daughters loved it!! They had so much fun! They would certainly love to be back. Thanks a bunch to all the people who have contributed to the success of Camp St. Louis, especially to all the team members and counsellors who selflessly looked after the welfare of our kids while they were away from home and for keeping all the campers safe, healthy, joyful and peaceful. Thank you to Fr. Jhack for saying daily mass, delivering homilies, and administering confession together with Fr. Nong, Fr. Gerard, and Bishop Paul Terrio. Kudos to Camp St. Louis committee, team, staff, and executive director- Deacon Ryan Sales, for an excellent job!!! Definitely, a top notch summer program of FAITH, FRIENDSHIP and LOADS of FUN!!!
My son attended for his first week-long camp in July, and loved it! Here we are two weeks later dropping him off for his second week this year! Great job guys!!!

About the camp:

Fun and games: Camp is loaded with activities such as swimming, hiking, volleyball, Frisbee, soccer, skits, “Capture the Flag,” and other exciting games.

Deepen your faith: We celebrate the Mass almost everyday, listen to talks, reflect on the life of Christ, and participate in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. We end each day by rejoicing and praising God through singing at camp fire.

Drop-off & Pick-up

Camp begins on the Sunday or Monday night (short week). There is a Mass at 6:00pm, to which all are invited.  Registration for the week occurs after Mass.  (Please note:  we are not able to accept care of your child until after the Mass.)

There is a closing Mass Friday morning at 10:00am, to which all are invited.  Pick-up follows at 10:30am.  (Please arrive by 10:30am, as our staff have a significant amount of cleanup to do before the camp is turned over to renters.)

Costs:

$499 for overnight camps (including counsellor week) if paid by June 15. Includes a free t-shirt while supplies last. 8-9 year old (short week) is $399 if paid by June 15. Each family only pays this fee once (see Family/Multi week rate below) Counsellors only pay for Counsellors week.

$25 late registration  fee if registration completed after June 15.

Family/Multi-week rate: Additional children within the same immediate family are only $250 per week. Children attending more than one week are $250 for the second week.

Day Camp: Because it has been a few years since camp has run, there will be no day camp this year, so that our NEW staff can focus on our weekly camp.

Subsidy Program: Campers/Counsellors in financial need and unable to pay the full fee may request a subsidy. Please contact the Director, Samuel Skuban, at campstlouis@dostp.ca or 780-379-7929

Note: The unfortunate financial impact of Covid has resulted in escalating costs associated with camp operations and therefore has necessitated an increase in our camp registration fees.
